Tonight’s NBC comedy block features a number of noteworthy guest stars. Emmy nominee and star of the BBC America series Orphan Black Tatiana Maslany makes an appearance on Parks and Recreation. Following that is the new hit Sean Saves the World, in which tonight’s chapter features Queer as Folk vet Robert Gant in a story about Sean Hayes going on a blind date.
Desperate Housewives vet Eva Longoria reunites with Ricardo Chavira on tonight’s episode of his new comedy series Welcome to the Family. She’ll play the sexy new teacher of his character’s younger son. Lastly, Anne Heche pops in on The Michael J. Fox Show playing his former professional nemesis.
Scandal star Kerry Washington is a judge on tonight’s season finale of Project Runway. She’ll join Zac Posen, Heidi Klum and Nina Garcia to select the winner at Lincoln Center. It was just announced that Washington will make her debut as a host on Saturday Night Live on Nov. 2.
As Matt Bomer’s name is back on people’s tongues since Charlie Hunnam backed out of Fifty Shades of Grey, his face is back on your TV screens when a new season of White Collar debuts on USA. The fifth season begins with efforts to get Tim DeKay’s character released from jail after being accused of murdering a Senator. After the last couple weeks of inaction in Washington, D.C., can anybody blame him? Bomer falls back on his experience as a con-man to get his friend out. The Following‘s Warren Kole debuts as Bomer’s new handler.
If costumed dramas are your thing, then tune in for the CW’s premiere of Reign. It’s a different and historically inaccurate look at the time of Mary Queen of Scots and bucks trends of past films about the ruler with a much younger cast. Former Teen Wolf actress Adelaide Kane plays the British throne claimant alongside Beauty and the Beast vet Luke Roberts. Plus there’s a bevy of actors who are quite experienced with costumed dramas, including The White Queen’s Ashley Charles, The Tudors‘ Torrance Combs, World Without End’s Megan Follows and The Chronicles of Narnia‘s Anna Popplewell.
